After initial contact is established Business requirements are gathered in this phase. Meetings with managers, stake holders and users are held in order to conclude the requirements. The aim here is to capture the detail of each requirement and to make sure everyone understands the scope of the work and how each requirement is going to be fulfilled.

The design of a software system is made roughly which refers to an abstract representation of that system.This step helps remove possible flaws by setting a standard and attempting to stick to it. Design is concerned with making sure the system will meet the Business requirements, as well as ensuring that future requirements can be addressed.

Once the design is finalized development of software starts here with data recording going on in the backend. The entire flow and the functionality requirement of the client is mapped in this way to ensure that the final output is as per the Business requirements.

Once the software is developed, testing stage considers the software for errors and documents bugs if there are any. This stage of execution comes in where the software goes through a pilot study to see if it's functioning properly.

After the software passes each testing phase it is ready to 'go live' and to be used in a real environment by all end users. Once the software passes through all the stages without any issues, it is to undergo a maintenance process wherein it will be maintained and upgraded from time to time to adapt to changes.
